A Community Liaison Group has been established to provide feedback on emerging proposals for the development of former RAF Newton. It has members from Newton, Shelford, East Bridgford, Bingham and Radcliffe-on-Trent as well as the Ward Councillor from Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The membership of the Liaison Group is as follows:

Please let the Liaison Group know your views so that they can be heard at the meetings. It is currently envisaged that the Newton Community Liaison Group will meet on a monthly basis and is likely to operate until spring 2010 when it is envisaged that a planning application will be submitted. The initial meeting was held on 27th October and meeting notes and the content of the design team’s presentation are available on this site.
